PRIMARY OBJECTIVE (S)
- To ensure the smooth running of restaurant and bar service which is presented and served to Company standards.
- To pro-actively ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
- To develop your knowledge of service and to show enthusiasm for your job through your work, appearance and conversations with customers.
To be fully conversant with the companies aims and objectives and to play a proactive role in their achievement.
To follow instructions given to you by other members of staff carefully and objectively and to the appropriate standard.
To ensure customers receive a warm welcome on arrival and warm good-bye when leaving. You will often be the first and last person they see.
To ensure that bar areas are kept fully stocked for the business requirements and that you undertake stock checks on a monthly basis.
To aid in the serving of and to serve drinks from the bar to customers.
To clean on a daily and weekly basis in the bar and service areas with reference to the Cleaning Rota.
To help ensure that the restaurant, bar area and service areas are set-up for the following service.
To follow checklists and training respectfully and to show enthusiasm by following the advice given.
Liaise with all of the service team to improve you own standards and knowledge.
To carry out service duties from all Managers and Head Waiter/ess
To process all info data information accurately at all times (with the consent of Manager) and to ensure the billing systems for bar and food items are being utilized correctly.
Show enthusiasm in updating your own knowledge and service skills.
To support management on overflowing telephone calls.
Assisting in the smooth running of all service aspects of FOH.
To undertake any tasks as requested by the General Manager and Managing Directors.
To communicate with colleagues openly and fairly at all times and promote mutual respect within the Team.
To comply with all statutory legislation in the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
